Evolve Community Rules

At Evolve, we are grateful for your choice to embark on your weight loss journey with us. As a member of our community, we are committed to fostering an environment of respect and kindness towards all members both in-person and online. Our aim is to offer support to each other in the group and motivate you to contemplate the changes you wish to make on a weekly basis, while also setting personal goals for yourself.

Is Our Plan Safe To Follow?

  • We take your safety and wellbeing very seriously at Evolve, and we are committed to providing you with a weight loss programme that is safe and effective. Our plans are designed in accordance with the guidelines established by the NHS and the Eatwell guide, ensuring that you receive all the essential nutrients and food groups that your body needs.
  • Before beginning our programme, we kindly request that you take responsibility for ensuring that you do not have any medical conditions that may hinder your ability to lose weight or increase your physical activity. In case of doubt, we advise you to consult with your GP.
  • We want to ensure that we can support you throughout your journey in the best way possible. If you have undergone weight loss surgery, please inform us and consult with your GP or healthcare team to ensure that our programme is suitable for you. 
  • Additionally, if you have a history of eating disorders or are currently struggling with one, please let us know and seek guidance from your GP or healthcare team.


If you have diabetes, it is important to keep your healthcare team informed about your weight loss progress and follow their advice, as your medication may need to be adjusted.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform us and your midwife/GP about your weight loss journey with us. This is important to ensure that you receive proper support and guidance from your healthcare team. They may advise you on additional vitamins and minerals that are required in your daily diet during this time.

Your Membership

Prices & Payment

Your membership fees will automatically start at the price quoted online/in Group during the sign-up process. Should you decide that you do not wish to continue with your membership, you must cancel your membership before the end of the monthly period. (See cancellation notes).  

You agree to pay the specified fee for your monthly membership. We may change the price of the membership and add or remove certain services occasionally. If there is an increase in the cost of your membership, we will provide advance notice and give you the option to cancel if you prefer not to pay the new amount.

How to cancel

Your monthly membership fee will be automatically deducted from your account on the date of the month following your joining date if you have set up a direct debit. Your membership is set up for a monthly basis unless you have chosen a 2 or 3-month block. To cancel your membership, please provide us with at least 7 days’ notice prior to the next payment date. Failure to do so will result in the automatic renewal of your paid direct debit.

What if I can’t make a group?

We hope you can attend a group each week, you can come to any session to suit you.  If you can’t attend a physical Evolve group, you have access to our members-only Facebook group where you’ll always get a dose of motivation.

What about holidays?

You don’t need to worry about holidays with your Evolve membership. You pay for 48 weeks a year, instead of 52, so you save money. It’s only £240 for the year, instead of £260 if you paid weekly. We like to keep things simple and easy for you, and this is one way we do it.

What if I don’t make it to the group for several weeks?

We really hope you can make it to Group each week, if not in physical groups then online. If you can’t make it due to EXCEPTIONAL circumstances e.g. bereavement or you are admitted to hospital. We will at (our discretion) suspend or refund the weeks you have missed.

Milestone Members

Fantastic news! Once you reach your Happy Weight, we’re here to support you for life. You’ll only pay a reduced monthly fee of £10 to maintain your healthy weight and live your best life!

Changing Your Happy Weight

We’re excited to celebrate your progress and keep supporting you on your journey to a healthy weight. Once you reach your Happy Weight, you can make small adjustments to it if needed. But if you decide to change your goal weight again, we ask that it be at least 5 lbs lower than your previous one. You’ll need to keep paying the standard monthly fee during this time, which includes ongoing support and guidance from your Evolve group to help you achieve and maintain your weight loss goals.

We care about your health and want to support you on your weight loss journey. If we notice that your weight has become unhealthy, we’ll inform you and help guide you back to a healthy weight range. If you remain at an unhealthy weight for more than 4 weeks, we’ll be concerned about your wellbeing and will suggest that you speak to your GP or healthcare team for additional guidance. In these cases, we may also ask you to pause your weight loss journey with us until you receive dedicated healthcare support.

Social Media Policy

To join our online Facebook support groups, you must be a current member with an active subscription. We value kindness and respect towards others and therefore reserve the right to remove any member from these groups if they fail to abide by these principles. If we do remove a member, we will inform them of the reason for their removal, but their membership status may remain the same.

At Evolve, we take your privacy seriously and will keep your personal information confidential to support your weight loss journey.

Please respect the privacy of others in the group and obtain permission before taking or sharing photos or videos.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline membership to ensure a supportive, motivating, and friendly environment for all members.

While we strive to keep our groups open throughout the year, there may be rare occasions when we have to temporarily close a group for a short period. Please note that in such cases, neither the members nor the company will be held liable.
